Another author I was happy to meet was Vanessa Montalban, a young adult fantasy author. Her passion for storytelling is incredibly alluring, and in hearing her excitement about a new legend (to me) that inspired this book, I picked it up immediately!
Den of Vipers by K.A. Knight
The book cover caught my interest multiple times before I took the plunge into buying the book, and this one definitely isn’t joking about its content warning (but each time I pick it up, it’s hard to put down!).

Methods of Persuasion by Sunny del Williams
The second installment in her Birch Valley series, and the second book I’ve read of hers! This is the author that has turned my head into reading cosy (and spicy) romcom novels. After reading her first novel, I was hooked.
